A Word to the "Little Flock" This remarkable document, issued during the critical four-year period between the Great Disappointment of October 22, 1844, and the memorable Sabbath conferences of 1848, gives an insight into the experience and thinking of our pioneers in their earnest efforts to discover their position and work and to ascertain what the future held for the believers and the world.
The Sanctuary, BY O. R. L. CROSIER was printed in the "Day-Star Extra" in 1846. Regarding it, Mrs. White wrote in a letter to Brother Eli Curtis under date of April 21, 1847: "I believe the Sanctuary to be cleansed at the end of the 2300 days, is the New Jerusalem Temple, of which Christ is a minister. The Lord shew me in vision, more than one year ago, that Brother Crosier had the true light, on the cleansing of the Sanctuary, &c; and that it was His will, that Brother C. should write out the view which he gave us in the Day-Star Extra, February 7, 1846. I feel fully authorized by the Lord, to recommend that Extra, to every saint." - A Word to the "Little Flock," printed in 1847.Israel And The Remnant (Ancient And Modern) By: Elder C. A.
